Sometimes master’s students start their job search by focusing on their academic expertise, but this limits the career opportunities available to them. Non-academic employers are typically less concerned about your degree in one specific subject matter, and more interested in the set of skills you can bring to their workplace. In this workshop, Master’s students and graduates will reflect on the work you’ve done in academia, identify transferable skills, and learn how communicate your value in job documents and interviews.
