July 15 Students with a past due balance greater than $200 will be administratively dropped from their Fall 2021 courses

 Payment Receipt Deadline
August 20 HOLIDAY: Statehood Day (non-instructional day)
August 23
  • Semester begins
  • Late registration begins (single $30 system-wide late fee)
  • UH Employee faculty & staff registration begins
August 31
by 4:00 p.m. (HST)		 Deadline to:

  • Register for a course
  • Change course grading mode & variable credit
  • Drop a course for 100% tuition refund
September 6 HOLIDAY: Labor Day (non-instructional day)
September 10 Fall 2021 Graduates: deadline to file Application for Graduation

by 4:00 p.m. (HST)		 Deadline to:

  • Drop a course without a “W” grade
  • Drop Business Administration courses numbered 300 and above
  • Drop a course for 50% tuition refund
  • Submit UH Employee tuition waivers
September 15 to November 1 Restricted Withdrawal period (with “W” grade) via STAR GPS
September 15 to December 1 Fall 2021 Commencement: Online registration begins https://manoa.hawaii.edu/commencement/

  • Deadline for instructors to submit an “I” grade removal for Spring 2021 & Summer 2021
  • Deadline to apply for Credit by Examination
