Enrollment Verifications

The Office of the Registrar can verify your enrollment status for current and future semesters for which you are officially registered at UH Mānoa including: anticipated graduation date, semester(s) of attendance, start and end dates for each semester, number of credits carried, grade point average (GPA), or other pertinent information regarding your academic record. Enrollment status (e.g. full time, half time, etc.) is not provided for past semesters.

Degree Verifications

Once your degree is completed and posted to your academic record/transcript, you can obtain a degree verification letter through the Office of the Registrar. Please allow between 8-10 weeks from the end of the recent semester to request a degree verification.

Order a Verification

If you need the Office of the Registrar to provide a letter, or to complete an outside agency’s form, please submit a Request for Verification of Enrollment. If needed, you may attach additional documents to your request.

Additional Information

While requests are usually processed within five business days, it may take longer during peak periods (e.g., the beginning of the semester).
There is no fee for enrollment verification.
For your privacy, your verification will not include your Social Security Number or date of birth unless you have specifically requested they be included.

Common Application College Report Form

University of Hawai’i at Mānoa students planning to transfer to another school which utilizes the Common Application should use the following instructions (PDF) to have the College Report Form completed and submitted ONLY if required by the destination institution.

Third-Party Requests

UH Mānoa has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse to provide verification of enrollment and degree(s) earned from the University. Third parties (e.g., employers, background screening firms, etc.) can request a verification of enrollment and degree(s) earned by contacting the National Student Clearinghouse or at 703-742-4200.
