In an effort to create awareness for crime prevention and safety, UH Mānoa Department of Public Safety has created several opportunities for crime prevention, awareness, and emergency management training. We encourage our students, faculty, and staff to take advantage of these opportunities!

DPS conducts a variety of training sessions by request, including Theft/Shoplifting Prevention, Robbery Deterrence, and more. If you would like to request one of these training sessions, or if you need DPS to develop a custom training to meet your department’s needs, please contact DPS Crime Prevention Unit at dpscpu@hawaii.edu and tell us about your training needs.

DPS offers a variety of information, tips, and crime notifications through our social media accounts on Facebook and Twitter. In addition, DPS regularly publishes a quarterly newsletter, which provides important department updates, information about upcoming events, and crime prevention tips.
