Hurricane season in Hawaiʻi occurs roughly between June 1 and November 30, and it is important to be prepared. This session is led by our DPS Emergency Management Coordinators, and covers everything you need to know about hurricane preparedness in Hawaiʻi including:
- Hawaiʻi Watch and Warning systems
- Tips for preparing an emergency kit
- What to do when a hurricane is coming
- How to find a local hurricane shelter or shelter-in-place
- Resources and information about local and government agencies
