The University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa Chamber Singers, UH’s premier singing ensemble, performs a diverse array of challenging choral music.  We especially aim to serve and honor music of the host cultures of Hawai‘i, with a particular focus on music in ‘Ōlelo Hawai‘i, through study, performance, and education. Comprised of student-singers from across the UH system in multiple degree programs, we strive to serve our school and broader community through performances, pilina-building experiences, and acts of service.  We share a kuleana to embrace everyone’s identity with love.  With courage and open minds, we sing and grow together.

Concert Choir is an ensemble for all UH students, faculty members and staff who wish to gain performing experience and knowledge in choral music reading and communal singing skills. The ensemble performs a wide variety of repertoire and collaborates with other UH ensembles in larger works. Membership is open to all who have had some previous singing experience participating in high school, church, or community ensembles, or are interested in trying a choir for the first time. Hawaiian Chorus is an ensemble for students who wish to gain performing experience in and a deeper understanding of choral music in ‘Ōlelo Hawai‘i and its rich tradition in our islands.
