Chamber Singers

Chamber Singers is the premiere choral ensemble for the University of Hawaiʻi System. Comprised of the most advanced choral musicians on campus, the Chamber Singers performs literature from a vast spectrum of languages, styles, and time periods with particular attention to the repertoire of Hawaiʻi’s host culture. The ensemble regularly tours both nationally and internationally.

Entrance into the ensemble requires consent from the instructor, Dr. Habermann.

Concert Choir

University Concert Choir is an ensemble for students of all majors who wish to gain performing experience and knowledge in music reading and musicianship skills— all within a comfortable social setting. The ensemble performs a wide variety of compelling repertoire and regularly collaborates with the Hawaiʻi Symphony Orchestra and the UH Symphony Orchestra. Membership is open to singers of all majors who have had some previous choral experience participating in high school, church, or community ensembles. No audition is required, feel free to sign up!

University Chorus

University Chorus is an ensemble directed by graduate students in choral conducting. This ensemble is open to students and community members without any previous choral experience looking to build rudimentary techniques in ensemble singing and musicianship.
