Scholarships

Students who want to be considered for Music Department Merit Scholarships must apply through the Music Department  separate from any UH aid application.

Applications are only accepted via electronic submission. To apply electronically, visit star.hawaii.edu and login to the “Scholarships” section along the bottom of the browser window. Paper applications will not be accepted or considered for awards. Students whose System Application or Music Department materials are incomplete will not be considered. Merit scholarships for new students are available only to those entering in the Fall semester. (Remember to consult the deadlines for scholarship application.)

Tuition Assistance

Competitive tuition assistance awards are available for Band and Orchestra members and require a separate application process.
