Lyon Arboretum seeds 500 trees to give away

Lyon Arboretum and the Mānoa Outdoor Circle recently connected to prepare for the 1000-tree giveaway event that will be held sometime in November 2022. Varieties included mountain apple, kukui (candlenut), mānele (soap berry), ulu (breadfruit), māmaki (Hawaiian medicinal plant), kokiʻo keʻokeʻo (Hawaiian Hibiscus), koa, ʻōhiʻa lehua, and cacao (chocolate).
