ALOHA!

Lyon Arboretum is part of the University of Hawaiʻi and a public botanical garden. We are nestled in the back of Mānoa Valley, just five miles from the bustle of Waikiki. Lyon Arboretum has over seven miles of hiking trails and boasts more than 6,000 taxa of tropical and sub-tropical plants on our nearly 200 acres.


Visit the Arboretum

  • Open to the public Monday through Friday from 9 am until 3 pm, closed on weekends, State and Federal holidays .
  • Admission is free, but donations are greatly appreciated. The suggested donation amount is $10 per person.
  • Reservations are required. Reservations are open one week in advance on the Friday before.

SCHOOL FIELD TRIPS:

We are fully booked for K12 school tours for the 2023-2024 school year and will not be accepting any new bookings for school tours.

Requests CAN be made for summer.

School tour requests for SY2024-2025 will open at the end of July. Mahalo!
