From Climate Grief to a Resilient Future: A Community Workshop

From Climate Grief to a Resilient Future: A Community Workshop on Creating Stability in Unstable Times
Co-sponsored by Climate Protectors Hawai‘i

Hearing about and experiencing climate change can bring up strong emotions such as grief, anxiety, and frustration. Suppressing these emotions can lead to burnout or even apathy. Through facilitated discussion, ritual, and nature-based practices, this workshop will be a space to share and collectively reflect on difficult thoughts and feelings. This framework and the resiliency practices offered will demonstrate how acknowledging challenging emotions can lead to a renewed commitment to purpose and energize participants to go forth to take collaborative action. We invite you to join us to share, connect, and re-ignite inspiration and possibility in your change-making work and personal life.
The class will take place indoors and outdoors.
