Funding for Summer or Year-long Research in Japan

The Japan Society for the Promotion of Science is the largest funding agency for academic research in Japan. Funding available for PhD students and postdoctorates in all fields. Deadlines vary. Register for the October 29th, 11 am webinar to learn more.

SMART Scholarship Program – Department of Defense

The DoD’s Science, Mathematics, and Research for Transformation (SMART) Scholarship provides educational and career support for STEM students. Benefits include tuition, annual stipend $30,000–$46,000, internships, mentorship, & employment upon graduation. Deadline: December 6th.
