UROP holds information sessions at the beginning of each semester (January in the Spring and September in the Fall) for anyone wishing to learn more about UROP programs.
Currently, all information sessions are hybrid (in-person and via Zoom) and require registration. When UROP holds an in-person information session, walk-ins are welcome and no registration is required. Information Sessions usually last about 30 minutes to an hour.

You may attend these information sessions via Zoom or in person in Moore 104. Upon registering you will receive the Zoom link so you can attend in either format.
Intended Audience: Undergraduate students, faculty and staff interested in learning more about UROP’s various funding opportunities and resources
Intended Audience: Undergraduate students early in their academic career interested in exploring research/creative work, with little to no prior experience, faculty and staff interested in learning more about Early Research and Creative Work (ERC) funding.
Intended Audience: Undergraduate students at any stage of their academic program who are ready to propose their own faculty mentored research or creative work project, faculty and staff interested in learning more about Project Funding.

Departments and offices on UH Mānoa campus are welcome to request UROP staff to come to your class, orientation, faculty/staff meeting, etc. and provide UROP Information Session. Please fill out and submit the Information Session Request Form below.
