Subject: 2024 University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa Presidential Awards for Outstanding Service

The Mānoa Presidential Awards for Outstanding Service recognize sustained and exceptional leadership of employees and their service to their offices, their departments and the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa (UHM). Our staff and faculty are an integral part of moving our university forward, and awards provide an opportunity to recognize the accomplishments and contributions of your team members. As such, I invite and encourage you and your administrative team to submit a nomination for one of our many outstanding Civil Service, Buildings and Grounds Maintenance, Administrative, Professional and Technical (APT) and/or Faculty Specialist employees who continue to serve our students and community and improve our campus academic, research, student and administrative operations.

One recipient for each category will be selected and receive a monetary gift of $1,000 and a certificate of recognition. Recipients will be honored at a special in-person ceremony at the end of the 2023–2024 academic year. The award information, eligibility, and criteria are posted on the UH Mānoa awards website at Eligibility Requirements.
