From: David Lassner, President
Subject: 2020 University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa Presidential Awards for Outstanding Service
The Mānoa Presidential Awards for Outstanding Service recognizes sustained and exceptional leadership of employees and their service to their offices, their departments and the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa (UHM). Our staff and faculty are an integral part of moving our university forward, and awards provide opportunity to recognize the accomplishments and contributions of your team members. As such, I invite and encourage you and your administrative team to submit a nomination for an outstanding Civil Service, Buildings and Grounds Maintenance, APT and/or Faculty Specialist employee.
One recipient for each category will be selected and will receive a monetary gift of $1,000 and a certificate of recognition at a special ceremony to take place tentatively on May 4, 2020. The award information, eligibility, criteria and nomination form are also posted on the Mānoa President’s Office website at Eligibility Requirements. Please share the information with your respective department personnel and encourage them to nominate one of our many outstanding UH Mānoa team members!
