Financial Aid Services Scholarships

The Financial Aid Services office administers several scholarships that you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) in order to be considered. A separate application is required for some scholarships which a UH Username is needed to login. Don’t have a UH username yet?

State of Hawai’i B Plus Scholarship

Award amount: Up to $2,000

  • Funding is limited, depending upon available funding, scholarship may be renewed annually for students who maintain satisfactory academic progress up to four years.

Requirements:

  • Enroll in at least 12 credits applicable toward your degree.
  • Undergraduate students who graduated from a State of Hawai’i public high school after 2005.
  • Earned a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher based on high school transcripts.
  • Completed a rigorous high school curriculum.
  • Demonstrate financial need.
  • Complete necessary requirements (if any). Check your status for any requirements (if any).

Second Century Scholarship

Award amount: Up to $2,000 based on your enrollment status

  • Funding is limited.

Requirements:

  • Native Hawaiian Ancestry.
    • Priority to residents of Hawai’i.
  • Demonstrate financial need.
  • Undergraduate student – must be a first time Bachelor’s degree seeker.
  • Enroll in at least 6 UH Mānoa credits applicable toward your degree.
    • This scholarship may be prorated or revised if you do not have 12 or more applicable credits toward your degree.
  • Complete necessary requirements (if any). Check your status for any requirements (if any).

Other Financial Aid Services Scholarships

Award amount: Varies based on scholarship

  • Funding is limited.

Requirements:

  • Complete application.
  • Be a resident of Hawai’i.
  • Demonstrate financial need.
  • Enroll in at least 12 credits at UH Mānoa applicable toward your degree.
  • Maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress.
