Startup Guidance Counseling

Connect with PACE’s network of professionals through the Professional-in-Residence program. Students seeking startup advice are invited to schedule in-person appointments with experts in marketing, finance, business and law. Schedule an appointment.

NOAA Coastal Resilience Fellowship

Applications are open for the 2025 NOAA Coastal Resilience Fellowship at Hawaiʻi Sea Grant. This paid, 2-year position (salary: $54,890/year) focuses on climate resilience and community building. Apply by February 28, 2025 or register for the informational webinar on February 5.

American Council of Learned Societies Leading Edge Postdoctoral Fellowship

Humanities/interpretive social sciences PhDs with degrees by 8/31/25. Two years at $70,000–$74,000/year. Solve problems, build organizational capacity, advance justice/equity in society. Deadline: March 12. Register for February 10 or March 5 info session.

IELTS USA Andrea Scott International Graduate Scholarship

$5000 tuition scholarships renewable for 3 years. Must have a valid IELTS Academic score within the last 2 years for a graduate program starting Fall 2025. Deadline: April 7.

ACUW Scholarships 2023–2024

Associated Chinese University Women awards $2,500 scholarships to full-time students. Must have 3.60+ GPA, be of Chinese ancestry or interested in Chinese culture, be a US Citizen/permanent Hawaiʻi resident. Deadline: April 18.

ForagerOne for Undergraduate Students

Are you a UH Mānoa student interested in doing research/creative work but don’t have a mentor? UROP invites UH Mānoa students to create a ForagerOne profile to network with potential research/creative work mentors. Attend an information session to learn more!

Entering Research and Creative Work (ERC) Funding for Undergraduate Students ($1,500–$3,000)

UROP invites UH Mānoa students with little to no research/creative work experience to submit a simple application (no proposal required!) with a mentor to receive an hourly stipend and explore what doing research/creative work is like. Fall/Spring application cycles available. Attend an information session to learn more!

Project Funding for Undergraduate Students ($5,000–$10,000)

UROP invites UH Mānoa students planning to conduct mentored research/creative work to submit a proposal and request funding for materials, travel, stipend, etc. Fall/Spring application cycles available. Attend an information session to learn more!

Presentation Funding for Undergraduate Students ($2,000–$5,000)

UROP invites UH Mānoa students interested in sharing their mentored research/creative work at a local, national, or international conference/event to submit a proposal and request funding for travel, stipend, etc. UROP encourages applying 3 months prior to the presentation date. Attend an information session to learn more!

UROP Hybrid Information Sessions

UROP invites UH Mānoa students, faculty, and staff to learn about all of our funding opportunities and resources! We will have 3 different sessions, including a general overview and workshops on how to submit a successful application. Registration is required.

Responsible Conduct of Research Module

UROP is hosting a professional development module to introduce UH Mānoa students to responsible conduct of research (RCR) — a standard practice for all research/creative work. We will cover topics including what RCR is and its importance in all disciplines, followed by real-life case studies. Registration is required.
