Members from several 4-H clubs and other youth groups met on November 7, 2023 to pack Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes & 100 keiki bags with toys, toiletries, & school supplies for youth impacted by the wildfires in Lahaina in August.
The Maui group packed 1,868 boxes! Their efforts were combined with groups from other locations around the state. Hawaii’s contribution of 44,866 Operation Christmas shoeboxes will be heading to Mongolia, Philippines, Thailand, Ukraine, El Salvador, Madagascar, and Uruguay.
