The Charmers 4-H Club on Maui volunteered at the Ritz Carlton Hotel’s Christmas party for their employees’ children
Mahalo Creeks 4-H Club!!
The volunteers, leaders, members, and faculty of the Maui County 4-H program greatly appreciate the extremely generous donations from the Creeks 4-H club. Youth members from the clubs voted to donate proceeds from their fundraising projects to support the youth displaced by the wildfire disasters on Maui in August 2023. The Maui County 4-H Leaders Organization is currently planning on how to use the funds for the greatest impact. BUT THAT’S NOT ALL! The clubs also created button to support and cheer the youth. They also donated tic tac toe…
Operation Christmas Shoebox
Members from several 4-H clubs and other youth groups met on November 7, 2023 to pack Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes & 100 keiki bags with toys, toiletries, & school supplies for youth impacted by the wildfires in Lahaina in August. The Maui group packed 1,868 boxes! Their efforts were combined with groups from other locations around the state. Hawaii’s contribution of 44,866 Operation Christmas shoeboxes will be heading to Mongolia, Philippines, Thailand, Ukraine, El Salvador, Madagascar, and Uruguay.
Aloha Girls Thankfulness Meeting
The Aloha Girls club met in November for a thankfulness meeting. We read a thankful book and the girls decorated Thank You cards for their teachers, friends and family. We also did a thumb print craft and created a Thank You card for the Malama Dolphins 4-H club for hosting the Halloween Bash.
Lokahi Girls Care
The Lokahi Girls club met recently for their 4-H Officer induction ceremony. Afterwards they worked together to craft items to sell for a donation to create care and comfort packages for children affected by the fires.
