Congratulations on your ERC funding! Before UROP can transfer funds to you, you must satisfy all pre-funding requirements as listed below:
- Fall: November 20th at 12 pm
- Spring: TBD
If you have any questions, contact UROP at urop@hawaii.edu.
- Submit ERC Pre-Funding Requirements Form
The form asks funding recipients to sign up for an ERC Recipient Orientation, in addition to acknowledging UROP’s professional development modules, training and research compliance, and the ERC Memorandum of Agreement (MOA)
UROP offers professional development modules for ERC recipients to build additional professional and academic skills outside of their research and creative work activities.
ERC students are REQUIRED to attend at least one professional development module in the semester of their funding disbursement. Professional development modules may vary depending on the semester, but they may include the following. Check the Professional Development Modules page for the most up-to-date schedule.
The ERC funding recipient and the mentor must complete all training and research compliance requirements and submit the ERC Training and Research Compliance Requirements Form in their funding disbursement semester:
- Fall: October 15th at 12pm
- Spring: February 27th at 12pm
- Summer: June 25th at 12pm
For the specific type of training and research compliance required from each ERC funding recipient, enter the ERC ID in the ERC Training and Research Compliance Requirements Form to auto-populate the relevant fields.
See Required Training & Research Compliance for details on this requirement.
Please see the Funding Disbursement Procedure page on what to expect before UROP transfers your funds to you and how UROP transfers your funds to you.
