
Biographical Narrative
Mike McGee is a dedicated mental health professional with a passion for helping others. He has been a resident of Hawai'i Island since 2011, having relocated from Pittsburgh, PA. Mike holds a MSW degree in Social Work from the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa.
With a diverse range of experience, Mike has served as a Program Director for an inpatient treatment center, a Clinical Team Lead for an organization serving the unhoused population, a Substance Use Treatment Trainer, a private practice Therapist, and an Adjunct Lecturer at UH Mānoa.
Beyond his professional roles, Mike is actively involved in the community. He serves on the board of the Hawai'i Island Community Health Center and is the President of the Big Island Coin Club. In his free time, he enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two children.
