Recruiting Student Participants for Economic Experiments
Researchers study economic decision-making in a computer lab on campus or online. Earn money just for showing up on time, then earn more based on your decisions during the experiment! These experiments are fun and educational, and no prior knowledge of economics is required! Duration: 1 to 3 hours. Register to participate in the experiments. TBSE Transfer Ambassador Program ($1,000–$2,000)
The TBSE Program bridges disproportionately COVID-affected groups from KapCC to UH Mānoa College of Social Sciences. This program provides opportunities for Bridge students to receive free summer data science and advanced economics courses, peer mentoring and support for their success in economics. UH Institute for Astronomy invites applications for Summer 2024 Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) program
Apply for the UH IfA REU Program 2024 by January 31. Gain hands-on experience, explore astrophysics, and receive a $700 weekly stipend, plus support for room, board, travel, and conferences. Program: June 3 – August 9.
$16,000 Graduate Fellowship
The Mustard Seed Foundation offers fellowships to Christian graduate students studying in areas where Christians are generally underrepresented. Renewable up to two additional years. Deadline: January 3rd.
Paid Residential Fellowship at Winterthur
Winterthur Museum, Garden & Library provides fellowships to research American art and culture. Humanities, Social Sciences, Arts, Architecture, Public Affairs, History, Anthropology, Urban Studies, and other disciplines should apply by January 15.
Papua New Guinea Fellowship for 2024–2025
The Ambassador Mary Olmsted Fellowship Fund provides financial support to Papua New Guinea citizens pursuing Graduate Division degrees. Apply by February 15 via STAR Scholarship. keyword: “Olmsted”.
Tria Kerkvliet Southeast Asia Studies Graduate Fellowship (2024–2025)
PhDs finishing their dissertation writing related to Southeast Asia could receive up to $1000. Preference for History or Political Science candidates. Apply by February 15 via STAR Scholarship, keyword “Kerkvliet”.

Are you a student interested in doing research/creative work but don’t have a faculty mentor? UROP invites students to create a ForagerOne profile to network with potential research/creative work faculty mentors. Attend a ForagerOne information session to learn more!
Entering Research and Creative Work (ERC) Funding for Undergraduate Students ($1,500–$3,000)
UROP invites students with little to no research/creative work experience to submit a simple application (no proposal required!) with a faculty mentor to receive a stipend and explore what doing research/creative work is like. Fall/Spring application cycles available. Attend an ERC information session to learn more!
Project Funding for Undergraduate Students ($5,000–$10,000)
UROP invites students planning to conduct faculty-mentored research/creative work to submit a proposal and request funding for materials, travel, stipend, etc. Fall/Spring application cycles available. Attend a project funding information session to learn more!
Presentation Funding for Undergraduate Students ($2,000–$5,000)
UROP invites students interested in presenting their research/creative work at a local, national, or international conference/event to submit a proposal and request funding for travel, stipend, etc. UROP encourages applying 3 months prior to the presentation date. Attend a presentation funding information session to learn more!
