Here is a helpful checklist for the current semester. Carefully read these items, and complete the ones relative to you during the recommended time periods. This will keep your semester stress-free. Be mindful of the deadlines. If you have any questions, please contact your advisor.

January 12, 2026	First Day of Instruction Attendance is mandatory! Read about automatic withdrawal here
January 20, 2026 11:59pm HST	Deadline: Register for a course Register to audit a course Change course grading mode & variable credits Drop a course for 100% tuition refund Submit Change of Major/Minor requests for Spring 2026
After January 20th, 2026	Late Add Period Requires Add Form with instructor approval
February 4, 2026	Deadline: Drop a course without a "W" grade and 50% tuition refund
February 5, 2026 to March 27, 2026	Restricted Withdrawal Period: Drop with a "W" grade and 0% tuition refund
February 13, 2026	Spring & Summer 2026 Graduates: Deadline to file Application for Graduation [via STAR GPS] & Spring Commencement Book name inclusion
February 10, 2026	Mandatory Advising Do you have 0-60 credits? If yes, you will have Mandatory Advising this semester. You will be contacted via email to fulfill this requirement
March 27, 2026 11:59pm HST	Last Day to Withdraw with a "W" After March 27th: will require Drop Form
April 6, 2026	Summer School Registration Plan the best courses to take with your advisor Contact the Outreach College with any questions Refer to the Summer 2026 Academic Calendar Outreach Registration Deadlines
April 27, 2026 to May 1, 2026	Fall 2026 Registration Assignments Begin See the [registration timetable] for assignments Meet with your advisor to discuss classes See course options using [star GPS registration] Refer to Fall 2026 Academic Calendar
May 6, 2026	Last Day of Instruction!
May 7 to May 8, 2026	Study Period: No classes, Prepare for exams
May 11 to May 15, 2026	Finals Week: Check when your finals are using the Final Exam Schedule
May 16, 2026	Spring 2026 Commencement: Congrats graduates! Diplomas will be ready in 10 weeks
May 20, 2026	Grades Available via STAR GPS
May 26, 2026	Summer Session I Begins
July 2, 2026	Summer Session I Ends
July 6, 2026	Summer Session II Begins
July 8, 2026	Summer Session I Grades Available via STAR GPS
August 14, 2026	Summer Session II Ends
August 19, 2026	Summer Session II Grades Available via STAR GPS
