Rainbow Shuttle

Temporary Changes to Shuttle Service

Only UH Mānoa faculty, staff, and students are eligible to ride the Rainbow Shuttle. In this context, UH Mānoa faculty, staff, and students are defined as anyone who is able to obtain a Mānoa One Card.

All riders must scan and present a valid UH Mānoa One Card upon entry.

Face coveringAll riders must properly wear a face covering for the entire duration of their shuttle ride.

Modified shuttle routes: Housing, Parking/Hawaiian Studies, and Mānoa

CleanerEach shuttle will be cleaned at every Varney Circle stop. The cleaning process will add about 10-15 minutes to allow the sanitizer to dry properly.

Shuttle occupancy will be reduced by 50%: 13 seated, 6 standing

The popular Rainbow Shuttle is a free service funded solely by UH Mānoa Commuter Services, which is a self-sustaining department. The purpose of the Rainbow Shuttle is to provide frequent access to the UH Mānoa campus for UHM students, faculty, staff, and affiliates through routes that are not serviced through similar public means of transportation. Shuttles are air-conditioned and seat 28 passengers. Multiple routes travel throughout the campus and also connect the neighboring vicinity, including off-campus parking locations. The Rainbow Shuttle operates during the Fall and Spring semesters, Monday through Friday during the day and some evening hours. (Modified routes and hours apply on holidays and during semester breaks.)
