NACADA: The Global Community for Academic Advising is joining with the John N. Gardner Institute for Excellence in Undergraduate Education to advance student learning, success, persistence, retention, and degree completion through a comprehensive, standards-based assessment process to promote excellence in academic advising.
The University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa was selected as one of twelve institutions in the first cohort of the Excellence in Academic Advising comprehensive advising strategic planning process.
EAA Phase I Committees
The National Association for Academic Advisors (NACADA) developed Nine Conditions of Excellence in Academic Advising, which will also serve as our nine committees for this process.
EAA Final Phase I Report
The Final Phase I Report was submitted to Provost Michael Bruno for consideration.
This report is the result of the hard work of every member of each of the EAA Conditions Committees, the EAA Steering Committee, and our two Liaisons. Thank you to each and every one of you for helping to make this possible.
Phase II
Now that Phase I has been completed, new working groups have been established for Phase II of the EAA Project. More information can be found on the Phase II webpage.
