Every summer, the Council of Academic Advisors hosts a summer conference for all academic advisors, and occasionally additional guests, to come together and share promising practices with each other.
2026 CAA Summer Conference
The 2026 CAA Summer Conference took place on June 10, 2026 from 9am to 3pm at the Campus Center at UH Mānoa.
This year’s conference theme, Standing Tall in Winds of Change, emphasized the role of the 'a'ali'i plant and how it is the first to grow after a lava flow and is rooted deeply to withstand the windiest of conditions. Academic advisors also withstand winds of change and remain deeply rooted in the foundation of helping others.
