Mirikitani Outstanding Dissertation Award 2023-2024

The Mirikitani Outstanding Dissertation Award recognizes exceptional doctoral dissertation work encouraging and recognizing extraordinary scholarly research. Eligibility criteria and application available via STAR Scholarship; keyword Mirikitani Dissertation. Deadline is October 15.

Humanities & Social Sciences Fellowships

American Council of Learned Societies supports doctoral students in Humanities/related Social Sciences. Dissertation Fellowships and travel grants range between $5000 to $50,000. Deadlines are October 25 to November 30.

Graduate School Fellowships for New Americans

Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans awards immigrants and their children up to $90,000 for two years of graduate study. Deadline is October 26. Info session sign-up here.

Hertz Fellowship

Awarded to promising Doctoral students in STEM whose work solves major, near-term problems facing society. Hertz Fellows may receive five years of funding, up to $250,000. Deadline is October 27.
