Mānoa Distance Learning Committee

The Mānoa Distance Learning Committee (MDLC) advises the Provost and the Vice Provost for Academic Excellence on best practices, strategies, policies that support the delivery of distance courses and programs at UH Manoa. The mission of the MDLC is to promote quality and access to students choosing the venue of distance learning for part or all of their academic pursuits.

The MDLC works collaboratively to make recommendations that enhance and support the development, delivery, management, and assessment of distance learning programs. A subcommittee of the MDLC reviews proposals for distance programs to ensure adherence to best practices and compliance with federal requirements, National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA) requirements, WASC substantive change policies, and UH policies and procedures.
