Getting to UH Mānoa by Skyline + TheBus

Commuters now have new options for an easier ride to campus. With the City & County of Honolulu opening the latest section of Skyline, they also launched Segment 2 of the Skyline Rapid Bus Lines, which includes improved connections to the UH Mānoa campus, including a NEW direct station-to-campus line.

How It Works

  • Take Skyline from your nearest station to Āhua Lagoon Drive Station (Station #12 near the airport).
  • Transfer to TheBus U Line (direct) or A Line for a ride to UH Mānoa.
  • Your ride is covered by your Mānoa OneCard (UPass) when tapped on the HOLO card reader.

New Rapid Lines to UH Mānoa

U Line: Expedited service between Āhua (Lagoon Drive) Skyline Station and UH Mānoa via H-1 Freeway. Runs every 60 minutes, with additional peak-hour trips on weekdays.

A Line: Frequent, limited-stop service between Āhua (Lagoon Drive) Skyline Station and UH Mānoa. Replaces Route A, with 10-minute peak frequency.
