Rules and regulations pertaining to changes, cancellations and refunds vary depending on the type of parking permit or pass you possess. Please expand the sections below to review information specific to your current permit or pass.
Payroll Deduction Permits
Changes
Employees interested in switching parking zones mid-year are eligible to do so pending department parking allocations and availability. If the switch is between surface lots, permit rates will remain the same and no revised payroll deduction election form is required. If the change is between a surface lot and the Zone 20 Parking Structure (or vice versa), a revised payroll deduction form must be submitted to accommodate the rate change. Please consult your Department Parking Coordinator if you have any questions on this process.
Cancellations
If you wish to discontinue payroll deductions, you must complete a payroll deduction cancellation form and physically return your permit to the Commuter Services Business Office. Payroll deduction changes are processed by the Department of Accounting and General Services (DAGS) and may take up to two pay periods to terminate. Please note that you will remain financially responsible for the permit fee until you return your permit and your cancellation takes effect.
Refunds
Excess parking deductions will be refunded by check within 15 days of the pay date following the last deduction.
Annual Permits

Employees may switch parking zones mid-year pending availability and approval by their Department Parking Coordinator. Employees interested in obtaining a parking permit that does not need to be exchanged should consider a payroll deduction permit pending eligibility requirements.
