Every summer, the Council of Academic Advisors hosts a summer conference for all academic advisors, and occasionally additional guests, to come together and share promising practices with each other.

Call for Proposals
This year’s conference theme, “E Lauhoe Mai Nā Waʻa (We Paddle Our Canoes Together),” invites presentations that highlight innovative practices, research, and programs designed to support student success and other key topics in academic advising. Proposals should plan for a 50-minute session, with 40 minutes for the presentation and 10 minutes for Q&A.
Proposals are being accepted now through April 28, 2025.
We will contact presenters with accepted proposals the week of May 12, 2025. As part of the conference follow-up, we will request presentation materials from selected presenters to share with attendees, ensuring continued engagement with the ideas and practices highlighted during the event.
