Accreditation
The Mānoa Institutional Research Office (MIRO) is responsible for compiling and disseminating data which is required by accrediting institutions.
Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) Accreditation
The University of Hawaiʻi was first accredited by the Western College Association in 1952. The Mānoa campus is currently accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Senior Colleges and Universities of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, and received a 10-year reaffirmation of accreditation in 2022. Professional Program Accreditation
As of 2025, 56 professional programs are also accredited by appropriate agencies. Details of these accreditations are provided by the Office of the Vice Provost for Academic Excellence.
