Employees

The University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa employs more than 5,800 personnel. The UH System Institutional Research, Analysis & Planning office (IRAPO) publishes reports on the number of employees at each campus and at the UH System level.

These reports only count employees in positions appointed by the UH Board of Regents and the state civil service. These positions include faculty; administrative, professional, and technical (APT) employees; executives; civil service; and graduate assistants.

UH Mānoa also employs a number of student assistants and casual hire employees, but these staff are not counted in the reports below.
