Special Events Request Form

UH affiliate special event parking arrangements are evaluated according to individual needs on a case-by-case basis and are scheduled based on available resources. Non-UH affiliates are charged for all services, including but not limited to manpower, equipment, administrative, and other resources used. Non-UH affiliates must present an approved UH Facilities Use Agreement or respective Campus Center, Student Housing, or UH Facilities Use Agreement.

Updated Special Event Parking Fee Structure

Applies to all UH and Non-UH events (excluding Athletic sporting events)
Large events must be requested at least two months in advance in order to procure manpower and resources.

Direct Cost + **20% Overhead X

*Direct Cost is defined as all parking related costs (e.g., employee payroll, contracted workers, Honolulu Police Department services, etc.) directly associated with the respective special event.
**Overhead is defined as 20% of Direct Costs and covers a portion of administrative and facilities costs of Commuter Services’ operations.
***Total vehicle entrance charges ($10/vehicle); collected in association with the respective special event (if applicable) will offset direct cost fees owed.

  • Surface Parking $25
  • Structure Parking UH affiliate, $5
  • Structure Parking Non-UH affiliate, $10

  • UH and non-UH affiliates, $10
