Peak Season Advising
As we approach Spring 2025 registration, our advisors at the Mānoa Advising Center will be dedicated to supporting you through Peak Season Advising during the week of November 18-22.
While we won’t be scheduling individual appointments during this week, we’ve made it easy for you to get help with all your advising needs by logging into our STAR Balance Kiosk for an in-person or online appointment.
Peak Season Advising Details:
- Dates: November 18 – 22

Make an Appointment
MAC students (declared exploratory; EX, EXAH, EXB, EXHS, EXSS, or EXST) should book appointments with a MAC advisor online through STAR Balance.
Non-MAC students (those who are not or not yet officially declared exploratory) should email macadv@hawaii.edu, or call our office during our front desk hours of operation (09:00 am – 03:00 pm HST on weekdays, except on observed holidays) to book an appointment.
Appointments are only visible for 7 calendar days in advance so if you do not see any availability, please check back the following morning. Appointments post at midnight HST.
Students can cancel their scheduled appointment up to one hour before the appointment start time. If you know you cannot attend your appointment, please cancel using STAR Balance.
No Show Policy
Students who do not attend, or are 10 minutes late for their appointment, will be marked as a No Show.
After the second No Show for the semester, students will have their appointment scheduling privileges suspended for two weeks. Each subsequent No Show will result in another two-week suspension of scheduling privileges.
Hours of Operation
Front Desk Operation: Monday through Friday from 09:00 am – 03:00 pm HST, except on observed holidays
Closed: Weekends and Holidays
