Mission Statement
Exploratory Pathways Advising (EPA) empowers exploratory students to navigate the selection of a best fit major that aligns with their interests, abilities, and goals by offering an impartial cross-campus perspective on all UH Mānoa majors and encouraging them to engage fully with campus resources as they create an educational plan.
EPA Student Learning Outcomes
Through advising and support, EPA helps students build the knowledge and confidence needed to make informed academic decisions.
-
1Students can identify major options available to them at UH Mānoa.
-
2Students can learn, identify, and understand general education, graduation, and program requirements through advising and supplemental support services.
-
3Students can identify and use campus resources available to them.
Where can I find my advising office?
UH Mānoa is made up of 15 colleges and schools, each with its own academic advising office. Because advising is tied to your specific program and degree requirements, your declared major determines which office supports you.
Not sure where to go? Use the Advising Guide to find your college’s advising office.
You are in the right place. Exploratory students meet with a EPA academic advisor who can help them explore options across all 15 colleges and schools and guide them toward declaring a major.
