2018 Ito Foundation Dinner
On December 7, 2018, the Gordon & June Ito Foundation held their annual holiday celebration at the lovely Mariposa Restaurant. Two of our MSW scholarship awardees were honored at this event, Whitney Kim and Ramic Santiago.
The Ito Foundation has graciously offered two $2.500 scholarship awards annually to our MSW students since 2011.
The objective of the Gordon & June Ito Foundation, as with all of the Ito Healthcare Group, is to improve the quality of life for Hawaii’s people, from medically fragile children to the elderly.
By supporting two Myron B. Thompson School of Social Work MSW students each year and offering opportunities to work with one of the facilities under the Ito Healthcare Group, the Gordon & June Ito Foundation hopes to uphold a high standard of care in the community to benefit Hawaii’s people.
We thank Cathy Iwai, Executive Director, and the Foundation for their continued support of our students and their commitment to serve the healthcare needs of families in Hawaii.
