UH Wind Ensemble movie night – live film score for the 1931 classic Frankenstein
The UH Wind Ensemble will play a new score for the 1931 classic film Frankenstein. One of the first “talkies”, the original Frankenstein was made without a film score. The UH Wind Ensemble will perform Michael Shapiro’s inspired score as accompaniment.
Festivities to include free snacks, a costume contest, and a pre-movie talk with UH faculty and science fiction scholar John Rieder (at 6pm)
