Join us for a wonderful evening following the “leaders” of Lieder; composers of the nuanced and multifaceted world of German Art Song! Exploring the themes of Love, Life, and Loss, we will present works by composers such as Mozart, Schubert, Brahms, Mahler, and Strauss; featuring songs from Schumann’s Dichterliebe, and perhaps Schubert’s best-known composition, Der Erlkönig.

Jeremy Wong is a lecturer in voice at UH. This recital is the Hawai‘i debut of German baritone Christian Adolph.
