Contemporary Music Ensemble

The UH Contemporary Music Ensemble (Thomas Osborne, director) presents an evening of new music including these works:
Samantha Bounkeua, Oceans for bassoon quartet
Reena Esmail, Tasveer for clarinet, violin, cello and piano
Adrian Knight, Daedaldualism for electric guitar, synthesizer and live electronics
Andrew Norman, Light Screens for flute, violin, viola and cello
John Tavener, A Mini Song Cycle for Gina for soprano and piano
Also included on the program are world premiere performances of pieces from Adrian Knight’s Dream Extracts for percussion and piano.
