The association between the Music Department and Hawaii Symphony Orchestra musicians continues with a chamber music concert featuring Gabriela Lena Frank’s Hilos, and Messiaen’s iconic Quartet for the End of Time (Quatuor pour la fin du temps), written while he was a prisoner-of-war at the Görlitz camp during WWII.
HSO Concertmaster Iggy Jang, Patrick Lin (violin), Mark Votapek (Principal Cello), James Moffitt (Principal Clarinet), and Jonathan Korth (piano) join together to present this concert.
Tickets available online: $12 general admission, $8 UH students/faculty/staff (ID required) & seniors (65+), $5 UHM music majors.
