Agreements – International Agreements of All Types (Continued) | The CGO assumes responsibility for ensuring agreements are internally vetted and reviewed by the appropriate campus and System offices (Office of Export Controls and Office of the Vice President for Academic Strategy), adhere to applicable OGC-approved templates, and for complying with all UH Policies and U.S. Export Control Laws and Regulations. This includes but is not limited to screening by the OEC for export control concerns, as well as the Data Governance Office if there are any data issues. If Data Governance issues are identified, the agreement must also be approved and signed by the Vice President of Information Technology (EP 8.200, Section III.B.4.g). The OGC/CGO is responsible for the timely uploads of agreements into the systemwide international agreement database.
