Pre-Health Post-Baccalaureate Certificate Programs

- Upper-level undergrad classes

- Academic Enhancers (AE): To raise overall GPA by retaking relevant prerequisite courses or other science-based pre-health courses.
- Career Changers (CC): for students who have obtained a bachelor's degree in a non-science or health-related field and have decided on a career change to a health profession.
- Educationally/economically disadvantaged or underrepresented minority (EDD): focus programs allow qualified students to become competitive applicants for professional school.
- Some offer linkage, where qualified students are offered guaranteed admission or interview to affiliated professional schools upon meeting certain requirements.

- ‘Imi Hoʻōla: Only for those who are not accepted into JABSOM.
Master’s Degree Programs

- Special Master’s Programs:
- Specifically for pre-health students
- Some SMP curriculums consist of courses that are taken alongside graduate, PhD, or professional school (medical, dental, etc.) students, allowing admissions committees to directly measure and compare students’ proficiencies at these higher levels.
- Some offer linkage, where qualified students are offered guaranteed admission or interview to affiliated professional schools upon meeting certain requirements.
