Jason Byerlotzer

Trombonist Jason Byerlotzer received his bacherlor’s of music from San Francisco Conservatory of Music, his master’s from Manhattan School of Music, and earned an MBA at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.
His principal teachers include Per Brevig, Mark Lawrence, and Donald Knaub. Mr. Byerlotzer is the principal trombonist of the Hawai‘i Symphony and the Royal Hawaiian Band. He performs for Chamber Music Hawai‘i as a member of the Honolulu Brass Quintet. He has also held positions with the San Antonio Symphony, the Colorado Springs Symphony, and the Cleveland Opera.
