How do I start a MOP project?

Take the MOP Seminar (IS/BIOL 104), which is an overview of statewide ocean issues and organizations involved marine activities, management, education, research and business. After this you can select a project topic and project mentors. Your written proposal will be reviewed by your mentor and MOP Coordinator. Then you may enroll for credit for your project.
Community college students are required to earn a minimum of two (2) credits for their projects, and the baccalaureate campuses requires a minimum of three (3).
