The Zotero Basics badge recognizes that the recipient has mastered the core Zotero skills including adding and organizing references and connecting those references to a document in a word processor, such as Microsoft Word, LibreOffice, or GoogleDocs.
Step 1: Learn Zotero
The first step is to install Zotero on your computer, including the connectors to each of the browsers you use, and then learn it in any way that works for you.

There are also many resources on the internet.
Step 2: Submit Your Request
Next, submit your information and two screenshots through the Request a Zotero Basics Badge web page.
Step 3: Share Your Badge
Once awarded, you can share the badge information through the UH badge website. View instructions.
The Zotero Basic badge supports the information literacy framework developed by the Association of College & Research Libraries (ACRL).
