Borrow
The University of Hawai’i at Manoa Library is open to any individual who wishes to use materials in the library buildings. Almost all materials are available on open shelves for self-retrieval. Selected materials are kept in protective storage and may not be available to all library users, or may be available only for a fee to persons not affiliated with the University of Hawaii at Manoa (audiovisual media). Electronic resources and databases have licensing agreements that may restrict usage by particular campus license.

Request
UHM Manoa patrons may request items from other libraries, including intrasystem requests for items held at other UH systems libraries, and interlibrary loan (ILL) requests for items not available in the UH libraries.
