RASRL Series Notes - Resource Files

Introduction

Originally located intermixed with Student Papers subseries A were several papers which did not appear to be written by students. Upon further examination, archives staff determined that the papers consisted of various writings, from a diary by a middle-aged woman written during the Second World War to professional studies upon topics of import in Hawaiʻi. Though these papers were collected to be resources for students studying sociology at the University and were thus stored with the student papers gathered for the same purpose, archival staff decided to remove the papers and place them in a closely related series. Hence the slightly different call number and separation from the Student Papers series.
