Aloha,

The Department of the Air Force ROTC program is a great way to earn a commission in the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Space Force. I think you will find that our program is both a challenging and rewarding experience.  Cadets must successfully earn a bachelors degree before we can commission them as second lieutenants, therefore we stress academic excellence throughout our cadet’s college tenure.  This focus also requires them to balance tough academic demands with corps activities and their personal lives. Time management, an unwavering desire to succeed, and adhering to our core values of “Integrity First, Service Before Self, and Excellence In All We Do” are definite keys to your success.

As the Commander, I make the following commitment to our cadet corps to fulfill our mission of developing leaders of character for tomorrow’s Air and Space Forces:
• Training will be tough, but rewarding and you will gain lifelong friends.
• Our policies, expectations and actions will be fair and consistent.
• Our graduates will be fully prepared to serve as Air Force and Space Force officers.

If you are interested in joining us and upholding the finest traditions of the Dept of the Air Force, and the Na Koa Lani men and women of Detachment 175, or just have questions, please don’t hesitate to email and/or call us at afrotc@hawaii.edu or (808) 956-7734.
