Primary Responsibilities
- Advises and assists students with discrimination, academic disputes, and grievances, conduct code issues, and related matters.
- Conducts assessment and evaluation of student services and implements continuous quality improvement and implements and oversees a formal program review process to ensure the provision of high-quality, comprehensive student support services.
- Develops and coordinates a campus-wide student development philosophy that drives all of the facets of student services.
- Oversees fundraising and grant writing functions for student services.
- Oversees responsibilities in statutory compliance areas such as the Americans with Disabilities Act, discrimination, and 504 compliance areas.
- Oversees responsibilities for enrollment management programs in areas including recruitment, admission, financial aid and scholarships, registration, student records, and orientation.
- Provides leadership and support to student services’ faculty and staff.
- Serves as a resource for the development of university policies related to student affairs.
- Serves as an advocate and promoter for students within the management structure of the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, the University of Hawaiʻi System, and the outside community.
- Serves as the chief decision-maker for program, budget, and personnel for all units of the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa’s student services and efficiently manages all funds collected or utilized for student services.

Primary Responsibilities
- Responsible for all aspects of the Division of Student Success operations on the Mānoa campus as the deputy of the Vice Provost for Student Success.
- Directs, manages, organizes, coordinates, and assesses student services, especially student life and co-curricular learning and activities, career counseling and student employment, psychological counseling, health services, student residential life, student conduct, and other related programs.
- Interacts and consults regularly with Associated Students of the University of Hawaiʻi and the Graduate Student Organization.
- Provides leadership and is responsible for the formulation, development, implementation, and evaluation of policies and regulations about student life, especially those related to alcohol and drug usage, student conduct, and student residences.
- Develops and oversees agreements, partnerships, and exchanges with other internal units and, as appropriate, other educational institutions and organizations across the UH System, nationally and internationally.
- Works with and interacts with other student officers/counterparts and deans, directors and administrators from UH Mānoa and other campuses; governance representatives, from student, faculty, staff, and Native Hawaiian governance groups, and business and community partners, and other constituencies and internal and external organizations.

Primary Responsibilities
- Provides direct services and support programs at Mānoa, systemwide, the DOE, and with community groups to promote access and success for student populations that are traditionally excluded and marginalized in higher education.
- Administers specific merit and need-based scholarships that support equity and diversity.
- Provides lifelong learning classroom opportunities for senior citizens.
- Implements policies and supports campus and outreach programs to encourage campus diversity, provide equal educational access and accommodate different learners.
- Provides university, pre-college, and community programs that promote educational equity and inclusion.
- Provides student support services for equal access and success of a diverse undergraduate and graduate student population.
- Supports the Mānoa Commission on Inclusion and Diversity, and other activities relating to the University’s strategic goals on equity and diversity.

Primary Responsibilities
- Serves as the campus student academic success administrator and policy advisor for UH Mānoa on matters about services and support for the student experience and academic success.
- Ensures the consistent application of academic policies and procedures for students across all colleges and schools.
- Assists the Vice Provost and campus leadership in the implementation and management of goals and objectives related to student success programs to improve the quality, direction, and priorities of student academic success.
- Ensures greater consistency and equity amongst academic advising units across campus.
- Assists in the improvement of transferring to Mānoa, especially within the University of Hawaiʻi system to identify and address issues students face when transferring to Mānoa.
- Works alongside the Office of Academic Excellence and the Center for Teaching Excellence to oversee the Association of College and University Educators program at Mānoa.
- Assists the Vice Provost for Student Success to effectively manage the contemporary emphasis on accreditation and licensure as it impacts student affairs, student services, and student life, and serves as advisor and resource when working with other Vice Provosts on academic, enrollment, and research and scholarship matters.
