Summer Term
Overview:
The Yonsei International Summer School (YISS) opened its doors in 1985 and since then, YISS has become an integral part of campus life based on a unique blend of Korean and global cultures. YISS offers a choice of more than 100 courses during a four to six-week program taught by both Yonsei and distinguished faculty from prestigious institutions around the globe.

Academic Details:
There are courses for various majors such as Arts & Humanities, Korean Studies, Business & Economics, Social Sciences,Korean Language, East Asian Studies, Science & Technology. Minimum course load is 2 courses (6 credits), and maximum course load is 3 courses (9 credits). Classes are held 4 days a week (Mon, Tue, Wed, and Thurs). Six-week program is offered from early of July to mid of August and four-week program will cover the entire month of July.

Housing Details:
There are 500 spaces for summer school students at on-campus housing facilities, International House and SK Global House. They are both located very close to the New Millennium Hall, where many of YISS classes will be held. Due to a limited number of rooms, students are strongly recommended to apply for the on-campus housing as soon as they receive their admission number from YISS.
